About last weekend’s celebrations: There was b About last weekend’s celebrations: There was butterfly ranuculus, real conversations, strawberries, wine in my great grandmother’s old decanters, rather delicious sourdough focaccia, dancing, dreaming, homemade limoncello, - and there was hanging from the ceiling (yes, that might have happened 🙈). Turning 40 honestly feels like such a blessing with all these beautiful souls In my life. 🤍 (And Ps: thank to so much for these little film clips of happiness @the.fish.professor and @desireephotography!)
Today is my birthday. - For 40 strange and beautif Today is my birthday. - For 40 strange and beautiful years I’ve travelled around the sun. And although growing older feels like oh so many things, - mostly, honestly - it feels like coming home. 🕊️
They are not just photos; they are memories, they They are not just photos; they are memories, they are tickets back to moments and years you’ve long since left behind. They are the last time dad carried his oldest on his hip, the last time mama nursed her youngest - the tenderness in her embrace after a bruised knee, the echo that remains from the two-year-old’s rollicking, all-consuming laughter.
