This session was such a dream. 🕊️

(Now all I want to do is shoot maternity sessions! 😌)

There’s so many ways of being present in the wor

There’s so many ways of being present in the world. And I often hear people saying you cannot be present while documenting. To me the exact opposite is the case;
I am always at my most present / mindful / alive while creating. 🕊️

I often get asked what my favourite kind of sessio

I often get asked what my favourite kind of sessions are, and I always find it hard to answer because it’s not really about the kind of session, - it’s about the connection, and the stories that unfold. (But if I had to choose just one kind, motherhood sessions would probably have been my choice).

And this one, this one truly made my heart sing. 🕊️

13/52 - I have not been to the silence in the wo

13/52 -

I have not been to the silence in the woods for months and months (due to the lake being frozen and not safe to cross). This weekend though - in spite of the promised snow/rain/hail storm - I’m going with my favourite @lilliannordbo and @iminfirkant - for laughter, tears, dreams and adventures. 🕊️

will the rivers flow in the right direction,
will the earth turn as it was taught, and if not how shall I correct it? Was I right, was I wrong, will I be forgiven, can I do better? Will I ever be able to sing, even the sparrows can do it and I am well,
hopeless -
 Finally, I saw that worrying had come to nothing.
 And gave it up.
And took my old body,
and went out into the morning, and sang.» 🕊️
