Hey friends! I’ve had a gentle trickle of new fo Hey friends! I’ve had a gentle trickle of new followers lately and so I just wanted to do a quick introduction: I’m Tiril, and when I’m not rowing a hundred year old wooden boat in Hardanger, I live in Stavanger (Norway) with my partner, our two girls/whirlwinds and our dear old dog. I’m 40 % photographer, 30 % writer, 90 % dreamer, 10 % ninja (swipe to see) and really bad at maths. Here are some random facts about me: 1. I cannot abide boxes or categories defining who you are supposed to be (and if some one puts me in one I get a pressing need to break out of it). 2. Although I love living in a tiny house in the city I’m constantly dreaming about moving to the country/woods. (or France). 3. My top three ways of recharging are gardening/growing things, yoga and escaping into the silence of the woods. 4. I’m a stationary geek and my all time favourite gadget is my reMarkable. 5. I like my coffee strong and dark and preferably in bed. 6. In parties you’ll find me either hiding in the corner with someone I already know or singing my heart out on the dance floor (there is no in between). 7. I have hungry eyes and a hungry heart, but I am also incredibly thin-skinned, and I’m always balancing between these two parts of me; the need to create and dance and dream and sing and swim in the ocean and connect and lose my breath, and the need for solitude and silence. Bryllup / Weddings / 2023 Fine dere! Jeg vet jeg Bryllup / Weddings / 2023 Fine dere! Jeg vet jeg har vært ganske stille på bryllupsfotofronten i det siste, så jeg tenkte bare jeg ville si i klartekst at: Jeg tar et begrenset antall bryllup i 2023! (Og følger med alt fra 2 til 8 timer, avhengig av hva brudeparet måtte ønske). Jeg har fortsatt en del ledige plasser, så ta kontakt om du er interessert og vil vite mer! / Telling love stories through my camera is still one of my very fabourite things to do. Therefore, in 2023 I’ll be accepting a limited number of weddings, with 2 to 8 hours coverage. I still have spots open, so please get in touch if you are interested or have any questions. 🤍
Today I had sun in my studio, hung a bunch of flow Today I had sun in my studio, hung a bunch of flowers from the ceiling, - and got to take pictures of these beautiful human beings. Such a good day at work, and a bit like spring in January. (And now I really, really can’t wait to edit the photos. That’s just the best feeling, isn’t it?)

Years ago, when I started talking loudly about nat Years ago, when I started talking loudly about natural newborn photography (without the «classic» posing and the skin editing), I actually received angry e-mails from established newborn photographers. I remember feeling incredibly conflicted between the «want-to-be-liked-by-everyone-part of me» and the «doing-photography-the-way-that-Feels-right-to-me-part». Today I’m so happy I didn’t budge. And I will always keep choosing natural newborn photography, with it’s beautiful imperfections and breathtaking softness.
